RUSTED:

Previous aim:

The aim of this project is to explore the design possibilities of textile rusting technique (as dye and eco print) to create interesting and new patterns on textiles.

New aim:

The aim of this project is to combine rusted fabric with surface pattern design, to create interesting visual expressions on textiles.

The motivation for this project is the idea to consider rusting as a natural dye and eco-print process because rust is something that happens naturally by time and it can be used in very interesting different ways in many forms of art, so I decided to explore it through textile design.
